Areas of Expertise

Teen Therapy

Teen therapy offers a safe and supportive space for young people entering new chapters of their lives to express their emotions, strengthen self-confidence, and work through challenges such as school pressures, friendships, family dynamics, and identity. In our sessions, we focus on building practical tools to manage stress, improve communication, and develop healthy coping strategies. My goal is to help teens gain clarity, build resilience, and feel more confident navigating life’s ups and downs.

Young Adult & Individual Therapy

Young adulthood often comes with major transitions—college, career choices, relationships, independence, and the pressures of figuring out who you are. In individual therapy, I help young adults gain clarity and confidence in their self-concept while learning to manage anxiety, stress, and the many decisions that come with this season of life. For clients of all ages, individual therapy provides a safe and judgment-free space to process emotions, explore patterns, and build the skills needed for lasting growth and well-being.

Couples Therapy

Relationships are one of the most meaningful parts of our lives, yet they can also be the most complex. Couples therapy is a safe, neutral space for partners to strengthen their bond, improve communication, and work through challenges together. Whether you are facing conflict, adjusting to life transitions, or simply seeking to deepen your connection, therapy provides practical tools and guided support. Together, we focus on fostering understanding, rebuilding trust, and creating a stronger foundation for a healthy and fulfilling relationship.

My Approach

I know what it feels like not to have met your soul yet. It took me “trying on” different roles in my life to find my path as a psychotherapist. Some of the roles, waitressing and nannying allowed flexibility and space for life experiences, and sometimes simultaneously, they left me feeling burnt out and lost. There was an internship with a major sports company, the LSATS, and an honours undergrad thesis on Modern Literature that made me feel accomplished but weren’t taking me in the right direction. I have been in relationships that didn’t serve me and other ones that might have, but I wasn’t ready for them yet. I’ve learned new sports, skiing, and temporarily lost ones that I relied on, running. As an artist, I have rejoiced in new techniques, and then also been frustrated in creative droughts. During all these explorations and times of transition, I think I made not feeling good or being on the right path look pretty good. At times, I may even have thought I had met my soul only to find out, I had only discovered a piece of it.

I have found my role as a psychotherapist. It took time and still requires time to maintain and develop it. Working in diverse settings such as centers for abuse, programs addressing PTSD in veterans, hospitals, and community health allowed me to expand my scope and breadth of knowledge. Developing programs for Alzheimer’s and Dementia in art museums and grief workshops in Barbados and Sun Valley, Idaho further increased my experience and taught me the importance of customization in therapy. After those years spent exploring and expanding my skills, I realized that my passion lies in private practice where I have been for nearly four years. Working with others to discover and access their paths and passions is my purpose. I needed to meet my soul, so I know what it feels like to need and want to meet your soul.

On my path, I continue to be an artist, athlete, a future wife, and a current dog mom. I look forward to meeting you and working together to bring the looking and feeling good together. To meet your soul and help you meet it too.
